And can a humble missionary woman and an arrogant man find common ground in the face of their biggest fears?<\/p>\n<p>================================<br \/>\nHow many of you have contemplated what happened to Americans living overseas when war broke out? I know that it&#8217;s not something that I&#8217;ve spent a lot of time thinking about. This book will put you right into the middle of it. The intensely written imagery caused me to put this book down more than once, but I seemed to keep coming back to it. The book isn&#8217;t without flaws though. There are some circumstances that just didn&#8217;t seem realistic and the characters didn&#8217;t seem as fleshed out as they could have been.
