\"\"<\/a>Midweek and life hasn’t slowed down any. I had my show<\/a> today and also got the kids bathed and laundry going at the same time. The boys and I are doing pretty good on keeping up with our daily chore list so I’m really happy and proud about that. Yesterday, I also surprised them and we went into Lansing and saw Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief. The one local theatre company runs $1 movie specials during the summer so we took advantage of that. While we all agree that the movie<\/a>\"\" is good and worth getting for our collection, we also agree that the books<\/a>\"\" are way, way better. <\/p>\n

So, that brings us to this week’s photo. The theme over on Sunday Shutterbugs<\/a> for this week is Long and I think we found just the picture!<\/p>\n

This is our backyard. Ok, the picture is really misleading. This is a small section of our backyard. This year, we had the bad combination of no lawn mower, lots of rain, grass\/weeds grow far too fast and then battery powered lawnmower.  It allowed our grass in the back to completely get out of control. Every dry day, I’ve been out there, hacking it down with the lawnmower.  We are now down to a very small segment that should be gone by tomorrow.
