* All payments for projects must include the following:
- At least one comp copy of your book or the book that your story is included in. If you are publishing only in a digital format, a completed digital copy will work.
- Credit given on any crowdfunding platform that you may use to bring your project to print. Also, my name should be listed among any credits given on social media and within the book itself. I'm a strong believer that all members of a team deserve credit for their hard work. After all, we've all seen the hilarity that a misplaced comma can cause.
- One half of payment must be received upon accepting of project. The other half will be due upon project completion. Terminating the project by the client before 100% completion will result in the "loss" of the first half of the fee.
- All payments should be made via PayPal to Katrina@KatScratchPress.com
- If termination of the project leads to completed work still being used, a comp copy must still be sent and credit must be given for the completed work.
- By hiring me for any project, it is understood that you agree to these terms.
Ugh. That last bit...I hate putting it in there, but I've been bitten and now have to be safe. Now, on to one last bit...a bit that makes me smile!
Testimonials
"Before I hired Katrina, I would get all sorts of emails and reviews talking about proofing errors. Since I hired her, I have had ZERO, and even had people leave reviews that said "I don't know what that person was talking about. I didn't see any errors." I only wish I had hired her way earlier."
- Russell Nohelty
"I had a great experience working with Katrina. She knows her grammar rules, and she provided excellent feedback on my book. She was open and honest when discussing the overall story, too, which is always a great skill to find in an editor."
- James Powell
"Katrina did an excellent job proofreading my novella. She was very professional and met the agreed upon deadline. She was also extremely invested in the book, me as an author and the success of the project which I really appreciated."
